Really kind annoyed cause people are saying that Gerard’s decorative arm-bandages at the bamboozled show the other day were actually covering ‘his self-harming wounds’, and his ‘beatings from lynz’.
let me set the fucking record straight.
Gerard does not self harm. even if he did, that would totally screw up the entire purpose of mychem. He wouldn’t do that. especially now he has a daughter to think about. also, why cut? he seems pretty happy to me. if he was unhappy, cutting would be the one thing he wouldn’t turn to, not after everything.
secondly, Lynz loves Gerard, and he loves her. It is EXTREMELY unlikely that either would abuse the other, especially with Bandit around. There are some rumors that suggest Lynz isn’t the most innocent person ever, but neither is Gerard. so what does it matter?
lastly, Gerard was not injured. The bandages from what we gather, were purely accessories. photos after show his arms bare and completely unharmed.
I know why this had come about.
some people are far too attached to the previous MyChem eras, and want tehm to go back to emo/goth stuff. And I understand that. but rumors like this are ridiculous and desperate. They’re punk now. fyi, i heard teh next album will be more like revenge, so keep your eyes peeled.
